Commercial Carpet Cleaning
Encapsulation, hot water extraction, and spot cleaning for carpet in commercial buildings.
Carpet Care for Commercial Buildings
Carpet covers offices, classrooms, church halls, and the common areas of many commercial buildings. Traffic lanes, entries, and spots show wear first.
Strip&Wax.com is a national commercial floor care brand. We work in commercial buildings only, never homes. We clean carpet and care for the hard floors too, so one vendor can handle every floor in your building.
How We Clean Commercial Carpet
Every carpet cleaning starts with a pretreat of traffic lanes and spots. Then the carpet gets the method that fits the visit.
Encapsulation cleaning
Our standard interim cleaning, the regular cleaning between deeper ones. It uses low moisture, so the carpet is back in use sooner than after extraction.
Our standardHot water extraction
The deeper periodic cleaning. It is done less often than interim cleaning.
Bonnet cleaning
Done only when a client asks for it.
Spot cleaning
Single spots and small areas, cleaned without doing the whole room.
How a Carpet Cleaning Visit Works
- 1
Plan around your hours
At night or on weekends.
- 2
Pretreat
Traffic lanes and spots get a pretreat first, on every carpet cleaning.
- 3
Clean
The carpet gets the method that fits the visit: encapsulation, hot water extraction, bonnet on request, or spot cleaning.
Encapsulation or Extraction?
Most carpet gets both, on a plan.
| Compare | Encapsulation | Hot water extraction |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | The regular interim cleaning | The deeper periodic cleaning |
| What it uses | Low moisture | Hot water |
| How often | Regular, between deeper cleanings | Less often than interim cleaning |
| Back in use | Sooner than after extraction | Later than after encapsulation |
| On a program | Regular interim cleanings | Added periodically |

Carpet and Hard Floors in One Building
Most buildings have more than carpet. Halls may be VCT and restrooms may be tile. Strip&Wax.com handles all commercial floor types, so one vendor can clean the carpet and do the strip and wax on the hard floors in the same building.
