What to Send
The more you send up front, the fewer questions we need to ask. A short list covers most jobs:
- Building type. Office, school, medical office, retail store, warehouse, church, or other business property.
- City or ZIP code. So we can confirm your building is in our service area.
- Floor type. VCT, LVT, concrete, terrazzo, rubber, tile and grout, or a wood gym floor. If you are not sure, a photo helps.
- Square footage. A close estimate is fine. Count only the floor area to be done.
- Condition. A few words on how the surface looks now, such as dull, scuffed, yellow, or peeling.
- Photos. Wide shots and close ups of the worst spots.
- Access days and hours. When each area can be closed for work.
- Furniture. What sits on the floor and needs to move.
- Deadline. Any date the floor must be done by, such as an opening or an event.

How to Take Useful Floor Photos
Photos show things a written note misses, such as worn paths, stains, and finish that is starting to lift. A phone camera is all you need.
- Wide shots of each room or zone show the layout and how much floor there is.
- Close ups show dull or yellow patches, scratches, ground in dirt, and soil along the edges.
- Entrances and main walking paths wear first, so give them their own photos.
- Edges, corners, and spots where one floor type meets another show buildup and help confirm what each surface is.
Light from the side shows finish problems that straight on shots hide. Open the blinds or hold a flashlight low to the floor. Our photo checklist for floor care quotes walks through each shot step by step.
What Happens After You Send It
- We review your request. We look at the floor type, condition, size, layout, and timing you sent, plus your photos.
- We follow up. If anything is unclear, we ask questions. If we have what we need, we send a quote.
- The scope is put in writing. The service, the areas, and the schedule are spelled out before any work starts.
Floor type matters as much as size. LVT is never waxed. Wood gym floors are screened and recoated, never waxed. Naming the right surface helps us match the right service from the start.
Remote Video Walkthrough
Some floors are hard to describe in a form. In that case, we can set up a short video call. You walk the space with your phone and show us the floor, the layout, and the problem spots.
A video walkthrough helps when the floor type is hard to tell from a photo, when there are stains or buildup in many places, or when the space has lots of rooms and furniture. Ask for one in the form or when you call.
What Changes the Price
- Square footage. More floor takes more time and product.
- Floor type and condition. A small floor with heavy buildup can take longer than a large floor that has been kept up.
- Service. A full strip and wax removes all old finish and rebuilds it. A scrub and recoat adds new coats on top of finish that is still sound, so it has fewer steps.
- Layout. Open areas go faster than many small rooms, columns, and tight corners.
- Furniture. Spaces that need to be cleared take longer.
- Timing. Work is scheduled at night, on weekends, one section at a time, or during school breaks.
Zero downtime is not a realistic promise. Each section stays closed while finish goes down and dries.

Do I need the exact square footage?
No. A close estimate works to get started. Photos and a few follow up questions fill in the rest.
What if I do not know my floor type?
Send photos, including a close up of the surface and an edge or corner. We can usually tell from there, or confirm it on a video walkthrough.
Can work happen while the building is open?
Yes. Work moves one section at a time, and the rest of the building stays in use. Each treated area stays closed until the finish is dry.
Do you work on homes?
